The weekend cook is responsible to provide satisfying, healthy meals for up to 100 studentsand staff members.Duties And ResponsibilitiesAdheres to safe-food handling and storage proceduresProvides special dietary needs as ordered by the MD, dietician, and nursing directorOffers students a variety and adequate amount of food to meet their dietary needsServes meals in a timely manner adhering to the Telos scheduleHelps to prepare extra-large meals for Family Days—five times per yearAbility to maintain a clean work environmentCompletes other assignments as given by supervisorRequirementsQualifications:Organized, Dependable, Coachable, ProactiveKnowledge of basic nutritionMust complete Direct Care TrainingCurrent food-handler’s permitAbility to create and prepare weekly mealsAbility to hold appropriate boundariesReliable and dependablePass a criminal background checkLive the mission of TelosClean language and behavior
