In this position, you will learn the basic principles of the industry and its applicable safety requirements, skills of effective safety management, and communication and relationship building behaviors with the goal of becoming a Safety Coordinator at one of our Operating Companies.ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/DUTIES:Assist with development, implementation, and updating of required written safety, health, and environmental programs and plans.Coordinate, plan, and facilitate safety, health, and environmental training.Conduct risk assessments, maintain documentation, and review as neededHelp develop controls for identified hazards and coordinate the implementation of controls from result of hazard analysisMaintain safety documentation including written programs, SDS's, audits, training, incidents, and many others.Review incident investigation reports and participate in the incident investigation process as needed.Perform analysis and trending of safety statistics and metrics to proactively monitor safety performance.Plans, schedules, and executes other safety related projects.What You'll BringCurrently enrolled (or recently graduated) pursuing related degreeMust be willing to travel to multiple job sites
