You will define and execute the payments strategy across our portfolio and play a key role in expanding Springbrook's payments ecosystem into adjacent areas and delivering differentiated value through ERP integration.This role requires deep expertise across the payments value chain and experience serving SMB and mid-market customers.This position is available for remote work.ResponsibilitiesMarket & Portfolio StrategyDefine and drive the product strategy for Springbrook's payments portfolio, including Xpress Bill Pay, Next Bill Pay, Civic Pay, QPay, and PathPoint PayFacEvaluate and optimize the portfolio, including rationalization and migration strategies across acquired and legacy platformsMaintain deep understanding of the competitive landscape in GovTech payments and identify opportunities for differentiation and growthDevelop data-driven business cases to inform product investments, platform strategy, and prioritizationPayments Ecosystem ExpansionIdentify and evaluate opportunities to expand Springbrook's payments ecosystem beyond current offerings, including AP payments, disbursements, and embedded financial capabilitiesPartner cross-functionally to define build, buy, or partner strategiesSupport development of new monetization opportunities tied to expanded payments capabilitiesBusiness Outcomes & PerformanceDrive alignment between product strategy, roadmap and key business outcomes, including revenue growth, ERP attach rates, retention, and gross marginDefine, track, and report on KPIs across the payments portfolioPartner with finance and leadership to support pricing strategy, forecasting, and ROI analysisProduct Leadership & ExecutionLead and develop a team of product managers, establishing a high-performing and accountable product organizationEnsure roadmaps are market-informed, customer-driven, and aligned with strategic prioritiesPartner closely with engineering, design, and delivery teams to execute effectively and deliver high-quality outcomesPromote a data-driven, outcome-oriented approach to product developmentERP Integration & Experience StrategyPartner closely with ERP product and UX teams to deliver deeply integrated, seamless payment experiences across Springbrook's platformIdentify and drive new product capabilities and embedded payment experiences that increase payments adoption and generate incremental revenueEnsure payments are tightly integrated with core ERP workflows (e.g., billing, receivables, permitting, licensing) to maximize usability and attach ratesCustomer Adoption & Growth StrategyDefine and execute strategies to increase electronic payment adoption among municipalities and utilities, including migration from in-person and mail-in paymentsDevelop product and experience strategies that encourage citizen enrollment in online and digital payment channelsPartner with go-to-market teams to drive behavioral change, improve conversion, and increase utilization of digital paymentsCustomer & Go-To-Market AlignmentServe as a senior voice of the customer, ensuring products meet the needs of municipalities, utilities, and SMB/mid-market organizationsPartner with sales, marketing, and customer success to drive adoption, positioning, and expansion of payments solutionsIdentify opportunities to improve the end-to-end customer payment and financial experiencePayments Value Chain ExpertiseApply deep knowledge across the payments value chain (PayFac, acquiring, gateways, processors, risk, compliance, settlement, reconciliation)Inform strategic decisions on how Springbrook participates in and captures value across the ecosystemMonitor regulatory, compliance, and security trends (PCI DSS, NACHA, etc.)Operational ExcellenceDrive continuous improvement across product processes, prioritization, and cross-functional alignmentMaintain awareness of Springbrook security and privacy policiesReport any security incident or suspected security incident to the Springbrook Incident Response TeamRequired Qualifications12+ years of product management experience, including leadership roles in payments, fintech, or SaaSStrong experience in market-oriented product management, including competitive analysis, opportunity sizing, and business case developmentExpertise across the payments value chain, including PayFac or merchant acquiring modelsProven ability to tie product strategy to measurable business outcomes (growth, retention, attach rate, margin)Experience leading product teams and driving execution across complex, multi-product environmentsExperience working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders across finance, sales, engineering, and operationsExcellent communication, influencing, and presentation skillsDesired QualificationsExperience building and scaling payments products for SMB and mid-market customers Experience in GovTech, municipal software, utilities, or regulated industriesExperience expanding payments capabilities into AP payments, disbursements, or embedded financeFamiliarity with ERP-integrated payments and financial workflowsStrong financial acumen, including pricing and margin
