In support of our growth as a leading IoT Solutions Accelerator, Mesh Systems seeks to hire an Integrated Supply Chain Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be a member of our cohesive IoT solutions team working in a modern agile environment. As we scale, you will lead and enhance our sourcing and procurement functions, ensuring efficient and reliable operations. This position offers a dynamic growth path for someone ready to take on leadership responsibilities in supply chain operations, all while working alongside acknowledged experts in the field and some of the best-known and respected brands in the world!This is a hybrid position with both work from home/in-office, and work will be based out of our Headquarters in Indianapolis, IN (specifically Carmel, IN) or Innovation Center in Appleton, WI, reporting directly to the Director of Things Engineering.Job ResponsibilitiesSupply ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for electronic components and contract manufacturers, and work with Quality and Operations at-large with vendor qualification and setupNegotiate contracts to achieve favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Review and own customer supplier agreements, ensuring all agreements are in placeBuild and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and quality. Proactively conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate and/or resolve constraints and risks in sourcing pipelines and strategies. Communicate findings to key internal and external stakeholdersLead key strategy and operating procedures on shipping logistics, especially international logistics, including tariffs. Communicate to internal and external stakeholders, including leadership and project teamsSupport creating or refining procedures related to inventory tracking and supply chain processes as needed to improve efficiency, consistency, and clarity across internal teamsManage end-to-end supply chain activities supporting IoT hardware programs from prototype builds through productionProcurement ManagementManage procurement activities, including generating and tracking purchase orders (POs) to meet project requirements. Ensure the timely delivery of materials and services by closely coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners. Monitor supplier performance and proactively address any quality, delivery, or compliance issuesOversee inventory management in collaboration with the Operations teammates to minimize disruptions and optimize costs by avoiding excess and obsolescence of raw materials and finished goods inventory. Work directly with vendors to resolve quality issues, quantity discrepancies, or damaged goods, including coordinating returns, replacements, and documentation as neededStrategic LeadershipWork closely with program managers and engineering teams to align supply chain strategy and activities with product development milestonesSupport the development and implementation of supply chain best practices, including cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvementsLead monthly engagements with contract manufacturers and coordinate annual supplier auditsProvide insights and recommendations to executive leadership based on supply chain performance metrics and trendsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience: 5-10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in IoT, electronics, or manufacturing industriesStrong negotiation skills with proven success in building and managing supplier relationshipsAnalytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and problem-solvingExcellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExpertise in sourcing electronic components and working with contract manufacturersInteresting CapabilitiesFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain management toolsKnowledge of FCC, IPC, or other industry standardsKnowledge of QuickBooks or similar toolsExperience in auditing suppliers, managing compliance with quality and PPAP processesNO AGENCY APPLICATIONS ACCEPTEDBenefitsAbout Mesh SystemsMesh Systems is an Internet of Things (IoT) Solutions Software and Services company that helps enterprises achieve digital transformation.
