Heavy Equipment Operator - Haul Truck - Quarry (Night Shift)

Heavy Equipment Operator Saiia Construction, a MasTec company, is currently hiring for Heavy Equipment Operators to operate Haul Trucks in a Quarry setting in the Sylacauga, AL area. The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment including excavator, dozers, graders, dump trucks, front-end loaders, compactors, scrapers, and water trucks to move materials to and from designated areas, participate in required training and ensure all established safety rules, procedures, policies, OSHA and MSHA regulations are followed. Responsibilities: Excavator Operation Bulldozer - Grader Operator Rock / Articulated/Dump / Roll Off Truck Driver Front-End Loader Operator Compactor Operator Scraper / Tractor Operator Water Truck Driver Qualifications: Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, MSHA and other related state and federal regulations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to use email, smart phone, tablet, or computer to manage company information and documents. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to maintain acceptable attendance standards per employee handbook. Approach and complete work in a meticulous, thorough, and timely manner.
