Following the combination of IGT Gaming & Digital and Everi, we are operating as a newly integrated organization with a global footprint spanning 100+ countries and 7,000+ employees.As we continue integration efforts, we are seeking an experienced interim leader to provide steady, execution-focused oversight of our global benefits programs during a critical transition period.Learn more at www.igt.com or www.everi.comOverviewIGT is seeking an Interim Director, Global Benefits to provide immediate leadership, operational stability, and executive-level guidance during a post-merger integration phase.This Assignment Will Focus OnManaging two parallel U.S. benefits structures resulting from the IGT and Everi mergerEnsuring compliance, cost control, and employee experience continuityPreparing the organization for a comprehensive benefits RFP process targeting the 2027 plan yearAssessing current global benefits programs and recommending a forward-looking integration roadmapThis is a hands-on leadership role requiring rapid assessment, strong vendor governance, financial discipline, and the ability to operate with urgency and executive presence in a complex, global environment.Work LocationLocation: Remote (2 days per week onsite as needed)Duration: Approximately 6–9 monthsKey Mandate & Deliverables Stabilize and Oversee Dual Benefits StructuresProvide operational leadership over two legacy benefits programs currently running in parallelEnsure consistent administration, compliance, and employee support across both plansIdentify risk areas, inefficiencies, and integration opportunitiesPartner with Finance to manage cost controls and funding models (self-insured and fully insured) Lead 2027 Benefits RFP PreparationAssess current vendor performance, contracts, and cost structuresDefine RFP strategy, scope, and evaluation criteriaAlign stakeholders across People & Culture, Finance, Legal, and ProcurementDevelop timeline, governance model, and executive briefing materialsPrepare the organization for execution of the RFP process Execute Critical Operational MilestonesLead global open enrollment planning and executionOversee compliance with ACA, COBRA, ERISA, GDPR, and international regulationsEnsure accurate reporting, audits, and risk mitigation practicesOversee global broker and vendor relationships during transition period Provide Interim Team LeadershipProvide clear direction and accountability to the existing global benefits teamMaintain operational continuity and service standardsIdentify capability gaps and recommend long-term organizational structure considerationsDocument processes and prepare transition materials for a permanent leader (if applicable) Deliver Executive-Level InsightsProvide the CPO and executive leadership with:Current-state assessmentCost and risk analysisIntegration recommendationsStrategic roadmap for unified benefits structureSuccess Measures for This AssignmentSuccess In This Role Will Be Defined BySeamless administration of dual benefits programs during merger integrationClear RFP strategy and readiness plan for 2027Identified cost optimization and risk mitigation opportunitiesStrong vendor governance and performance oversightPositive employee experience during transitionComprehensive transition plan and documentation for long-term leadershipRequired Experience10+ years of progressive benefits leadership experience, including global scopeProven experience managing benefits through M&A integration or organizational restructuringExperience overseeing self-insured and fully insured health plansDirect experience leading or preparing large-scale benefits RFP processesStrong financial acumen, including cost modeling and funding analysisExecutive-level communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholdersExperience working within complex, regulated, multi-country environmentsPreferredCEBS or similar certificationExperience in global, matrixed organizationsExperience with SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar HRIS platformsLeadership Profile The Successful Candidate Will DemonstrateRapid assessment capability and structured problem-solvingCalm, decisive leadership in complex environmentsStrong vendor negotiation and governance disciplineOperational rigor with strategic perspectiveAbility to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groupsHigh integrity and discretion with confidential informationThis is a contract assignment with a target duration of approximately 6–9 months.Compensation is $3,000–$3,500 per week, with flexibility based on experience, scope, and geographic location.
