This is a full-time, hourly position with the local Operators 513, working day hours, Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays depending on the season. Crane & Heavy Equipment Operator candidate requirements:Safety-FocusedStrong mechanical aptitudeExperience operating large sized cranes & heavy equipmentAbility to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditionsSelf-motivated with a solid work ethicMajor Crane & Heavy Equipment Operator responsibilities include:Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHAOperating Manitowoc 4000 Crane unloading barges, operating Komatsu PC650 excavator unloading fertilizer barges, Grove 70t crane unloading rebar from railcars, operating various quarry equipment, and performing maintenance on terminal processing equipment.Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as neededCommunicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needsPerform other tasks as assigned by supervisorThis is a great time to join our team.
