Speech Language Pathologist

Birch Agency, a nationally recognized company in educational services, is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Modesto, CA! Job Details: Full-time (32 hrs/week) Modesto, CA (one site) Age group: 6-12th grade Caseload: approximately 30 students Start: ASAP Students are fully inclusive into the general education setting. Mostly pull out, some push in support. A few students have AAC devices. In person services and assessments but may work remotely for IEP meetings and report writing. Pay dependent on experience - starting at $75-85/hr Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech and Communication from an accredited institution Valid CA state license for Speech Language Pathology Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, with a strong emphasis on supporting those with special needs Responsibilities: As a Speech Language Pathologist with Birch Agency, you will: Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines Attend IEP Meetings Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary Consult with Teachers Work as a part of Special Ed team Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion Benefits: Competitive compensation package with benefits including health and dental insurance 401(k) matching Paid time off Relocation assistance (if applicable) Access to a supportive network of peers and mentors within Birch Agency ***Only candidates who are eligible to work in the US without sponsorship will be considered for the position*** #promoted #LI-JB1
