Estimator (Sioux Falls)Great Place Construction is a private construction firm that specializes in commercial construction. We are seeking an Estimator to join our team to calculate, compile and prepare estimates as part of the pre-construction team. If you are driven to succeed, want to elevate yourself and those around you, and want to grow with a growing company, we want you! DUTIES: Generate project estimates. Complete quantity takeoffs. Solicit specialty contractors to obtain estimates. Maintain specialty contractor database to insure current information and inclusion of new potential bidders. Assist in preparation of request for proposal documents. Support management team in maintain and updating estimating software/database. Coordinate bid document sharing with all process stakeholders. Be an active participant in elevating yourself and the team around you. Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver a successful outcome. REQUIREMENTS: Excellent communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Bachelor's degree or working toward a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of related experience. Familiarity with commercial estimating techniques and software: On-Screen Take off, Bluebeam, ISqFT, etc. Valid DL and good driving record.
