Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Every other weekend required with holidays as needed • Float required if needed across all Cone Health facilities • Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends • 24 hours of orientation provided • Minimum 2 years experience required - first time travelers accepted • BLS certification required • Must pass EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed) • EPIC charting system experience required • Previous Charge RN experience preferred • Care for observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes patients, and surgical patients • Manage telemetry monitoring, central line blood draws, PICC line management, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and various medical equipment • Adult and geriatric patient population ages 18 and older • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences • Must complete compliance by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date • Required to complete non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours during orientation Facility: This major healthcare system operates multiple campuses and provides comprehensive medical services to the community.
