Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/24/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel St. Johnsbury, VT | ️ 13 Weeks | 36 hrs/week – Night Shift (7p–7a) Seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) with 3+ years of recent acute care experience for a critical access hospital in beautiful Northeast Vermont. This unit primarily cares for adult Med/Surg patients with occasional pediatric patients, so candidates must be comfortable treating both populations. The RN will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, and occasional pediatric care while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital setting. Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently are essential. Schedule includes three 12-hour night shifts per week with every other weekend and holiday coverage required. Travelers start on Wednesdays. Meditech experience preferred. Requirements: Active Vermont RN License or Multi-State Compact License Current AHA BLS & ACLS Minimum 3 years acute care RN experience Must be comfortable with occasional pediatric patients Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Patterns Hiring Job ID #296781.
