Our Cadre5 Lab Partners division has partnered with The Environment, Safety, Health, and Quality Directorate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) to recruit a qualified Instructional Designer for Technical Instructor Led Training. ORNL delivers scientific discoveries and technical breakthroughs needed to realize solutions in energy and national security and provides economic benefit to the nation. This premier research institution located near Knoxville in Oak Ridge, TN, addresses national needs through impactful research and world-leading research centers. This is a full-time, one-year long contract position that requires 100% onsite work. Why Cadre5? Working with highly talented team members 3 weeks’ vacation Excellent medical insurance, up to 100% paid by employer and contributions to HSA Plans Job Responsibilities: The Instructional Technologist will participate in all phases of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT), focusing on Analysis, Design, Development. Expectation for this role is to participate in design and development of the Technical Instructor Led training programs as a part of a technical classroom training quality revision and improvement initiative. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance is required. This requires US Citizenship. Preferred Qualifications: Technical knowledge and experience with Electrical Safety Training is preferred.
