With the training and support we provide, Field Service Technicians play a key role in maintaining that standard of excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain construction equipment at various job sitesTravel regularly to customer locationsDisassemble, clean, and reassemble equipmentFollow service manuals, specifications, and proper tool usageInspect and measure parts to determine reuse or replacement needsOrder parts as necessaryUse diagnostic and testing equipment to adjust machines and systemsComplete warranty reports and make recommendationsPerform minor welding, fabrication, plumbing alignment, and DC electrical repairsSupervise and assist team members with equipment repairsMaintain a clean, safe work environmentComplete service reports in EnglishAssist with parts ordering and warranty processingManage work orders (open/close, process revenue jobs, obtain purchase orders)Communicate job status, progress, and issues with customersHandle incoming service callsSupport special projects as neededAdditional Responsibilities* Assist the Service Manager with various tasks* Maintain a clean workspace and service truckPhysical Requirements & Work ConditionsFrequently walk on uneven terrainLift 50+ lbs regularlyUse hands and arms to operate tools and equipmentBend, reach, and work in various positions (standing, sitting, kneeling, lying under equipment)Climb in and out of heavy equipmentRead service materials and operate machineryCommunicate effectively via radio, phone, and in personAbility to hear and identify mechanical issues for safetyQualifications & SkillsValid Class A license requiredBasic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word; other Office programs a plus)Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to operate standard office equipmentBenefitsPaid sick leave, vacation, and holidays100% employer-paid medical coverage (employee + family)Dental and vision insurance401(k)/Roth with company matchQuarterly and annual bonus programsCompany stock after 5+ years of serviceAdditional InformationThis job description is not all-inclusive.
