Students navigating college access, career pathways, and mental wellness are falling through the cracks — not because nobody cares, but because counselors are overwhelmed. We've proven that AI-powered advising can change that at scale. College Possible went from 60 to 250 students per advisor. That story was picked up by Forbes, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.Your job: bring that model to K–12 districts, state education agencies, and college access organizations nationwide. The proof of concept exists. The media coverage opens doors. You close them.02 | Building the Workforce Development Operating System for AmericaThe City of Boston is running their workforce development programs on the Plumlogix platform. That's not a case study — that's a replicable model for every major American Workforce Board. There are hundreds of them. Most are running on disconnected systems, manual processes, and outdated data.Your job: position Plumlogix as the workforce development operating system for American cities and counties. Use Boston as the anchor. Build the pipeline that scales it nationally.THE OPPORTUNITYPublic sector agencies are under pressure to modernize, demonstrate ROI, and serve more constituents with fewer resources. Most of them don't yet know what's possible with Salesforce and AI — and most vendors can't point to results that have made national news.You will change that. As our first dedicated Public Sector AE, you'll own the strategy, relationships, and revenue for this vertical. You'll have the backing of a proven delivery team, proven reference clients, and Salesforce co-sell support — and you'll be building something that matters at a national scale.WHAT YOU'LL DODrive New Business▸ Identify and close new opportunities across state & local government, education, and workforce development agencies▸ Develop a repeatable pipeline through events, ecosystem partnerships, and direct outreach▸ Navigate public sector procurement processes, RFPs, and contract vehicles with confidenceBuild Lasting Relationships▸ Earn the trust of CXOs, program directors, and procurement leads at target agencies▸ Position Plumlogix as a long-term strategic partner, not just a vendor Sell Meaningful Solutions▸ Collaborate with presales and delivery teams to craft tailored Salesforce and AI-powered proposals▸ Translate complex technology capabilities into clear outcomes for non-technical buyersGrow the Ecosystem▸ Co-sell with Salesforce Public Sector and strategic partners to multiply pipeline▸ Represent Plumlogix at conferences, roundtables, and industry events▸ Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and CRM hygieneWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRequired▸ 8+ years of enterprise or public sector sales experience in IT services, SaaS, or consulting▸ Proven track record closing deals with U.S. State & Local Government or SLED accounts▸ Experience selling into Workforce Development agencies or programs▸ Strong working knowledge of public sector procurement, RFPs, and contract vehicles▸ Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem or cloud-based enterprise solutions▸ Consistent history of meeting or exceeding quotaPreferred▸ Existing network within public sector agencies and workforce development organizations▸ Experience at a system integrator or consulting firm▸ Familiarity with grants, federal funding programs, and compliance considerationsWHY THIS ROLE▸ You own a white-space vertical — national scope, no legacy quota, no inherited frictionPLUMLOGIX | Senior Account Executive, Public Sector▸ Your proof points have been in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal — doors open before you knock▸ Two ready-to-scale missions with real anchor clients: College Possible (K–12) and City of Boston(Workforce)▸ Salesforce Platinum Partner co-sell motion and 4.9 AppExchange rating behind every conversation▸ Entrepreneurial environment with direct access to leadership and real practice-building autonomy▸ Path to permanent employment and VP-level leadership as the Public Sector practice scales nationallyCOMPENSATIONThis is a performance-first role designed for self-starters who want their earnings to reflect their results:▸ Recoverable commissions draw during your ramp period▸ 35% of Gross Margin on all closed revenue — uncapped▸ Contract-to-hire: strong performers transition to permanent employment with full benefitsIf you’re confident in your ability to build pipeline and close deals in the public sector, this structure rewards that confidence.Ready to build something meaningful?
