Represents engineering as the subject-matter expert in client and project team meetings, upholds DSI's engineering standards firmwide, and manages a small group of engineers, including their staffing, development, and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide design and engineering guidance across departments and disciplines, ensuring DSI engineering standards are consistently upheld Stay current on industry trends, codes, and best practices, and share that knowledge across the engineering team Own conceptual design direction for assigned projects and review complex preliminary redline layouts used for estimating Perform or review advanced engineering calculations (heating/cooling loads, equipment selection and sizing, and related discipline-specific analysis) across HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection systems Conduct site inspections to confirm compliance with construction documents and resolve design issues that arise during construction Represent engineering as the technical subject-matter expert in project team and client meetings Take ownership of successful achievement of project engineering goals and objectives Manage a small team of engineers, including staffing, training, coaching, and performance management PI171e93a6587c-38059-41304592
