Optical Scientist/Research Physicist

DCS Corporation is looking for an Optical Scientist to develop novel sensing techniques for military applications. Essential job function: This is a laboratory-based position to design, build, test and analyze results from optical systems. Experience and interest in one or more areas of: optics, camera technology, image processing/analysis and signals processing. Interest in publishing and presenting results at relevant conferences and symposiums. The position is on-site at a Government facility. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of the work, US Citizenship is required. Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering, physics, optics or a related field and 4 years of experience (master's degree)/2 years of experience (PhD) in optical systems or related work. Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
