Operates and maintains a variety of survey equipment safely and efficiently.Stock and help maintain a clean vehicle.Assist in prompt start to survey activities at project site by assembling and setting up necessary equipment.Perform survey activities such as: leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, construction layout, as-built surveys, boundary surveys, profile, and cross section surveys.Record field notes legibly and accurately while following the Atwell established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).QualificationsA High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.A valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle is required.Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Survey Field TechnicianBasic plan and map reading (i.e., construction/engineering plans, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, plats, etc.)Typical survey equipment including robotic total stations, GPS systems, data collectors, UAV’s, etc. Experience with Trimble brand preferred.Proficiency in conducting UAV surveys and processing point cloud data is preferred. Knowledge of drones such as the DJI Matrice 350 RTI, Phantom 4 RTI and Wingra with LiDAR and photogrammetry payloads is desirable.
