The Material Handler is responsible for stocking finished goods, and inventory items throughout the warehouse. This role ensures that stock levels are accurate, inventory records are maintained, and materials are readily available for production needs while minimizing overstocking or shortages.This position is for our 2nd Shift (M-F: 2:30PM-11:30 PM)Organize and store inventory in the warehouse, ensuring materials are easily accessible and stored per safety standardsEnsure that work areas are always maintained in a neat and orderly mannerMaintain proper bin locations for all active inventory at specified locationsPost cycle counts after review and confirmation of the accuracy of any adjustments, including approvals as required by company guidelinesAssist in processing transfers within the system, to make sure material is transferred properly to final locationConduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory countsInvestigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and inventory recordsAssist in fulfilling internal production orders and shipments to customers, ensuring inventory is properly documented and delivered on timeEnsure adherence to safety protocols while handling materials and operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)Use inventory management and ERP systems to update inventory records, track materials, and generate reportsComply with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety and Quality Assurance policiesReport injuries, accidents, near misses or unsafe conditions to a Supervisor or Manager immediatelyOther duties assignedExperience1-2 years of related experience and/or training in a warehouse environmentSkills And QualificationsMust be able to stand for the duration of scheduled shiftAbility to manually load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, platforms up to weighing 25-100 lbsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include Close, Distance, Peripheral, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.Manual dexterity using hands, fingers, and arms to push, pull, reach, grab, hold, lift, and hammerAbility to pass a basic reading, math, measurement, parts matching and counting testAble to read, understand, interpret and follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing specificationsBasic level computer skills to include MS Outlook and Excel; experience with Epicor system preferableAbility to adjust to changes without compromising Quality or PerformanceMust be able to work a shift schedule and overtime as needed, including weekendsPHYSICAL DEMANDSWarehouse environment with multi step process production runs on different machines.
