Director, Retail Industry — Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)A leading global technology and consulting firm is hiring a Director-level Retail Industry leader to drive strategic growth, C-suite advisory, and business development across the Southeast retail market.This is a high-impact, regional BD mandate for a senior consulting leader who can shape and close $5M+ retail transformation engagements while serving as a trusted advisor to C-level retail executives across the Southeast and selected national accounts.What you'll ownStrategic C-suite advisory across leading retailers — covering merchandising, store operations, supply chain, omnichannel, digital commerce, customer experience, AI-led transformation, personalization, and operating model redesign.End-to-end business development — opportunity identification, solution shaping, proposal development, and deal closure on engagements typically $5M–$25M+.Account growth strategy across a portfolio of Southeast retail accounts, working with global delivery teams to ensure execution quality and engagement profitability.Thought leadership across retail digital transformation, AI-enabled operations, and customer personalization.Mentor and develop consultants and managers, fostering a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture within the Retail Consulting Practice.What you bring15+ years in retail consulting, transformation, or strategy — ideally within a top-tier consulting firm or major retail organization. Last 5+ at a recognised consulting or global IT services firm (Big 4, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, IBM, Capgemini, or equivalent — required).Demonstrated track record selling and delivering large-scale retail transformation programs ($5M+ TCV).Deep domain coverage across multiple retail functions — store operations, supply chain, digital commerce, merchandising, omnichannel.Existing Southeast retail client relationships are a strong differentiator.MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.Atlanta-based or open to relocation. Hybrid working — Atlanta presence required.
