Job/Role (Title) Name: Mainframe DeveloperWork location: Wilmington, Delaware(Onsite) Full Time RoleJob description:Years of Experience: 9+ yearsJob Description:Collaborate with leaders, analysts, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop applications to meet business requirementsLearn about and implement new technologies to build new features and improve application performance and security postureMaintain and enhance existing services, applications, and platforms using test-driven development practicesSupport the development of coding standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelinesWork closely with software architects and technical leaders to ensure decisions align with long-term enterprise and industry growth forecastsTroubleshoot complex issues and implement solutionsContribute to new work specifications and estimates as an active participant in Agile ceremonies and independentlyRequired qualifications:Passion, selflessness, and accountability to yourself and the team; ability to work well within a collaborative team environment as well as independently6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environmentsExperience in COBOL, JCL, IMSDB, IMSDCExperience with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum)Nice to have some exposure on NoSQL databases like MongoDBExposure to Airlines domain or Supply Chain domain will be beneficial
