Java AutomationLocation: Washington, DC (100% Remote role)Duration: 6+ Months with possible extensionsJob Responsibilities:Work within an Agile team to develop/extend test frameworks and write test features as assigned.Author/maintain automation code and associated test scripts, SQL queries and test drivers.Diagnosis test failures, continuously monitor test coverage, and escalate blockers to the team.Create, modify, and maintain necessary test data, including XML and JSON formats.Perform manual testing as a prequel to automation or where automation is not applicable.Effectively communicate the feasibility of requested deliverables and timelines.Must Have:Proficiency in Java/Spring is a must. Experienced in JUnit and Cucumber.Expertise with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.Exposure to Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, GitHub, etc.Experience integrating/executing automation as part of a CI/CD pipeline.Amazon Web Services Cloud experience is a necessity.Expertise with Oracle and Oracle RDS relational databases.Must have strong SQL knowledge, should be able to develop complex queries.Attention to detail is critical for this role.Must have strong JSON and XML generation and manipulation skills.Must be well versed in data driven test and validation techniques.Strong Agile mindset and experience with Agile collaborations tools: JIRA (preferred) or RallyNice to Have:Knowledge of Python is desirable.Automation experience using Selenium.Exposure to unstructured databases, such as, DynamoDB, Aurora, RedShift.
