Retail Sales Associate

Sales Associates progress through three levels, each building upon the responsibilities and expertise of the previous: Level I: Our entry-level associates greet and engage customers, learn about Slate products, handle sales and returns, and follow brand and operational guidelines. Level II (Keyholder): In addition to Level I responsibilities, Keyholders open/close the store, manage end-of-day tasks, and provide expert guidance on Slate’s furniture, linens, and art. They receive an enhanced wage and sales bonuses. Level III (Sales Leader): Building on Level I and II responsibilities, Sales Leaders support and mentor team members, resolve customer inquiries, and lead furniture and art sales with extensive product knowledge. They earn the highest wage and sales bonuses. Requirements Ideal candidates are passionate about quality home goods and customer service, possess excellent communication skills, and are proactive learners. Keyholders must be available at least 25 hours per week, and Sales Leaders at least 35 hours. Full- and part-time positions are available, with clear paths for growth through each level.
