Accountant
Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate and compliant accounting operations.
Responsibilities
Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and cash flow monitoring
Prepare financial statements and audit documentation
Set up multi-state payroll and sales tax compliance
Build actionable reports using advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
Develop KPIs and analyze performance metrics
Implement internal controls and maintain chart of accounts
Adapt quickly to new software in a paperless environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
8–10 years of progressive accounting experience
Experience processing payroll
Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
Strong organizational and client-focused communication skills
