Manufacturing IT Infrastructure Lead
Key Responsibilities:Manage and support manufacturing infrastructure across GRP locations, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies.Oversee platforms including Windows Server 2016/2019, SQL Server 2014/2016, VMWare/vSphere, and Remote Desktop/Terminal Server Services.Coordinate and monitor infrastructure project activities to meet defined performance metrics.Develop tools and practices to optimize system operations and facilities.Maintain hardware and software inventory and licensing in compliance with legal and business requirements.Collaborate with a global IT support team to share knowledge and best practices.Perform annual system testing to ensure compliance with IT System and SOX Audit requirements.Support SOX and internal audit teams and conduct disaster recovery testing as required.Lead a small infrastructure team, providing staffing recommendations, project prioritization, coaching, training, and performance management.Key Objectives:Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of systems architecture, hardware, operations, and lifecycle methodologies.Manage and enhance system support and maintenance processes.Develop strong business process understanding to align IT infrastructure effectively.Apply critical thinking to assess alternative solutions and identify optimal approaches.Ensure adherence to company IT standards and conventions, utilizing appropriate methodologies and support processes.Maintain strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical challenges.Introduce new ideas to enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and strengthen security.Utilize productivity tools like Outlook, Excel, Word, etc., effectively.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and support.Strong experience working with hardware and software vendors/suppliers.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in managing multi-group projects.Advanced knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and operations.Solid understanding of systems analysis, design, and programming techniques.Knowledge of security methodologies, including firewall rules, Active Directory, and row-level security.Preferred Skills:Proficiency in software suites like Rockwell FactoryTalk, OSISoft PI, Kepware Middleware, JBoss, SharePoint.Commitment to continuous learning to keep pace with evolving technologies and organizational changes.
