Title: SOX Testing ConsultantLocation: The WoodlandsDuration: 10 – 12 monthsCompensation: $45.00 - $60.00 per hourWork Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.Skillset / Experience:INSPYR Solutions is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Consultant with 4–10 years of strong SOX compliance and testing experience. This consultant will support the SOX testing team in evaluating and testing internal controls for a publicly traded company to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and internal control standards.Perform SOX testing for key financial and operational controls.Conduct walkthroughs with process owners to document and assess control activitiesPrepare detailed audit workpapers, testing documentation, and control matricesIdentify control deficiencies and assist management with remediation plansAssist with annual SOX risk assessments and scoping activitiesCoordinate with accounting, finance, and external auditors during quarterly and annual auditsEnsure compliance with company policies, SOX requirements, and audit standardsSupport special projects and internal audits as assigned QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance2–5 years of experience in:Internal auditExternal auditSOX compliancePublic accountingStrong understanding of:SOX 404 requirementsInternal controls over financial reportingGAAP and financial reporting processesExperience testing accounting and business process controlsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit documentation tools Our benefits package includes:Comprehensive medical benefitsCompetitive pay401(k) retirement plan...and much more!About INSPYR SolutionsTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
