Sr Java Developer

Our client, a leading organization in public health and government services, is seeking a Sr Java Developer to join their team. As a Sr Java Developer, you will be part of the Division of Population Health Informatics supporting application development and modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to project management, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Sr Java DeveloperLocation: RemotePay Range: $75 - $80/hr depending on skills and experienceWhat's the Job?Develop and maintain Java applications and web services to support public health initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and subject matter experts to create innovative solutions. Update existing Java web applications to ensure current functionality and implement new features based on user requirements. Work towards continuous integration and delivery pipelines within Amazon Web Services environment. Ensure compliance with data security standards and implement approved encryption techniques. What's Needed?15+ years of experience with Java Core, Java EE (JEE), JPA, and JPQL. 5+ years of experience with Java Server Faces (JSF) / Prime Faces. 10+ years of experience with PostgreSQL SQL and plpgsql. 5+ years of understanding development processes in Cloud / Amazon Web Services. Experience with Java RESTful Web Services and standards such as OATH2 or OpenAM for authentication.
