Role SummaryThis role supports the Director of Operations in building, stabilizing, and scaling production systems. The Operations/Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for driving process improvements across manufacturing and supply chain, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, quality, and flow. This position bridges production, logistics, and continuous improvement to ensure a safe, structured, and high-performing operation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and optimize warehouse and production layoutsDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiencySupport and enforce safety standards, hazard identification, and risk mitigation practicesDevelop, document, and maintain SOPs and standardized work instructionsAnalyze and improve material flow, staging, and inventory systemsSupport capacity planning and production scheduling to meet demandCollect, track, and analyze takt time and operational performance metricsLead cross-functional operational and process improvement projectsImprove shipping, receiving, and logistics processesPartner with production teams to reduce defects and improve quality outcomesSupport SQDIP metrics tracking and daily operational reviewsIdentify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions to improve throughputQualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain environmentsStrong understanding of safety standards and industrial workplace safety practicesExperience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsLeadership skills: Experience leading, coaching and developing own teamExperience with data analysis, KPIs, and performance trackingImpactThis role will enable the organization to scale efficiently by improving operational structure, reducing waste, enhancing safety practices, and strengthening supply chain and production systems. The Operations Engineer will play a key role in building a repeatable, high-performance operation capable of supporting long-term growth.Compensation and Benefits:Salary: Competitive Base Pay of $100,000 Per Year + Performance Bonus – Bonus based on top line and gross margin expectations + Commission opportunity. Travel Expenses: Reimbursement for travel, including mileage and lodging, per company policy.Benefits: Health Insurance (contribution as per current plan per annum will evaluate on an annual), 4% Match 401K, PTO
