We are currently hiring specialists in Saxophone, Jazz Bass, and Percussion to provide individualized and/or group instruction to music majors and non-majors. These positions are ideal for professional musicians and educators who are committed to student success and artistic excellence.Key Responsibilities Provide applied instruction in one or more of the following areas: Saxophone, Jazz Bass, or Percussion. Prepare and deliver course materials, including syllabi and lesson plans. Evaluate student progress through performances, assignments, and assessments. Offer constructive feedback and mentorship to students. Participate in departmental juries, and recitals. Maintain professional standards in teaching and musicianship.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Music or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the listed instruments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.Preferred Qualifications College-level teaching experience. Active performance career or professional experience in jazz and/or classical settings.
