Job Description "Restaurant General Manager"Schlotzsky's Locations: Grand Prairie, Cedar Hill, Forest Hill, Eastchase & Mansfield.Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.- Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance and increase profitability.- Monitor inventory levels and control costs through effective inventory management.- Train and supervise staff on proper food handling, safety procedures, and customer service.- Create and maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and providing guidance and support to staff.- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders.- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials.- Plan and organize banquets or special events hosted at the restaurant.Requirements:- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role.- Strong knowledge of inventory control, coffee, bartending, culinary, and food service management.- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on providing an outstanding dining experience.- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks.- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industry.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
