This role is critical to elevating and scaling their Shopify storefront experience. This is a role ideal for someone with deep React and Shopify skills who enjoys shipping polished, performant features and can act as a reliable technical liaison to stakeholders.What You'll Do Build polished, performant customer-facing features across our Shopify theme and React applicationLead A/B tests end-to-end: propose the experiment, scope the technical approach, ship the variants, instrument the funnel, and own the cleanup once results are in.Collaborate with Design to translate Figma into a UI that holds up across devices, edge cases, and accessibility requirements.Partner with Data to instrument analytics events cleanly, debug funnel drops, and make sure tracking stays trustworthy.Improve the storefront's foundations: performance, reliability, code quality, and the developer experience for the rest of the team.Own incidents that touch the storefront, from the first alert through the postmortem.Availability: Full-time.What’s in it for you?Learn and evolve your skills using the latest and greatest technology tools in a rapidly growing company.Learn from the best people around you. Able to have a real-time conversation.5+ years of full-time hands-on Frontend Engineering experience3+ years of full-time hands-on React + TypeScript experience.2+ years of full-time hands-on Shopify Liquid (Online Store 2.0) experience — must have shipped real features.2+ years of full-time hands-on CSS + Tailwind CSS experience.1+ year of full-time hands-on GraphQL experience.1+ year of hands-on AI coding tools experience (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or equivalent).Experience collaborating with Design via Figma. Able to translate designs into accessible, responsive UIs.Strong communication skills with non-engineers (PMs, designers).Bias toward shipping. Breaks work into small PRs and owns quality end-to-end.Nice to HavesExperience with rental, subscription, or other non-standard commerce models.Performance work on consumer storefronts including Core Web Vitals and INP/LCP debugging.Familiarity with headless or hybrid Shopify architectures such as Hydrogen.Comfort with GraphQL beyond consumption.
