Product Development & Production Intern (University Credit)New York, NY | Part-time | May – August 2026 (with potential to extend based on performance)The Christopher John Rogers studio is seeking a Product Development & Production Intern to support the development and execution of Women’s RTW, Knitwear, and Soft Accessories—from concept through final garment. Reporting to the Production Director and Design Managers, this role offers a close view into how collections are developed, produced, and delivered within an independent luxury fashion house.This is offered as an unpaid position, ideal for students seeking university credit and interested in the systems, relationships, and processes that bring a collection from the studio into production.Responsibilities include:• Supporting the day-to-day production process across RTW, Knitwear, and Soft Accessories• Assisting with BOMs, data entry, and maintenance in Zedonk PLM• Tracking materials, trims, and bulk deliveries, ensuring organization and accuracy• Supporting fabric and trim sourcing• Assisting with sample organization, tagging, logging, and archiving• Preparing materials for domestic production and factory allocation• Supporting quality control checks to uphold brand standards• Assisting with shipping, receiving, and light logistics between studio and vendors• Maintaining organization of the production space and material library• Providing day-to-day support to the Production Director and overall teamQualifications:• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail• Clear written and verbal communication• Interest in fashion production, development, and craftsmanship• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment• Ability to manage multiple priorities with care and precision• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PLM systems (Zedonk a plus)• Previous internship experience helpful• At ease with the tactile side of the work, including lifting and transporting materials up to 20 lbs between the studio and our factory partnersWhat You’ll Gain:• Hands-on experience supporting how collections move from development to production• Insight into materials sourcing, vendor coordination, and production workflows• Exposure to domestic and overseas manufacturing processes• Mentorship within a small, focused, and creatively driven studio
