Health Sciences
The person in this role oversees, manages, and coordinates, a variety of key administrative functions for the Office of the Dean of the School of Health Sciences; supports and manages personnel processes for faculty and student workers; oversees and coordinates functions and projects related to the school, faculty,and students.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred with one year of administrative experience or an equivalent combination of college coursework and directly related experience.
Data entry/retrieval, spreadsheet, and database experience required.
Excellent written/verbal communication, and organizational skills required.
Ability to interact confidentially and professionally with students, parents, faculty, staff, and general public.
Able to multitask and manage time efficiently to prioritize competing projects.
Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with personnel from other departments.
Basic math abilities and an understanding of basic financial concepts.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Essential Responsibilities Include
Oversee, manage, and support confidential faculty evaluation processes and records.
Oversee and manage administrative processes for the annual assessment of student learning outcomes in compliance with SACSCOC and other program accreditation requirements.
Oversee and manage Student Complaint administrative processes.
Working together with the Associate Dean, Program Directors, and Registrar, manage the course schedule-building process, review and submit student schedule change requests each semester.
Review and submit student schedule change requests, working collaboratively with the Associate Dean and program directors.
Oversee and manage the process for ensuring yearly bulletin changes are submitted to the Director of Academic Policies and Procedures.
Oversee and manage open position search records, inquiries, and correspondence on behalf of the Dean; schedule job candidate campus visits and related matters.
Prepare and submit contingent faculty contracts, supplemental payment forms, and faculty overload adjustment notices.
Oversee and manage recruiting and training of student employees in the school of health sciences
Oversee and manage record of student and alumni achievements for inclusion in the President's reports to the Board of Trustees.
Oversee and manage vendor documentation, Concur, and invoice processing, in collaboration with MMNT Managing Director.
Assist with Grant management and data collection for reporting.
Oversee and manage School's master event schedule, and plan and execute events.
Communicate with and provide information to students, as requested by the Dean.
Work collaboratively with the Dean and Assistant to the Dean on budget matters.
