Civil Litigation Associate Attorney (1–3 Years)Location: Los Angeles, CACompensation: Up to $155,000 base salary (DOE)About the OpportunityOur client, a well‐established Los Angeles civil litigation firm, is seeking a talented Litigation Associate with 1–3 years of experience to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney looking to gain substantial hands-on experience across all phases of litigation while working alongside seasoned trial attorneys.The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to build a long-term career in civil litigation.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle cases across various areas of civil litigation, including commercial disputes, real estate litigation, business torts, professional liability, and general liability matters.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses.Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations to supervising attorneys.Participate in and take depositions, court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences (based on experience).Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties in a professional and timely manner.Assist in trial preparation, including exhibit and witness organization.Maintain accurate case files and ensure deadlines are met.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active California Bar membership in good standing.1–3 years of civil litigation experience (law firm experience strongly preferred).Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.Ability to handle multiple assignments and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Professional demeanor with excellent communication and organizational skills.
