Sales Intern -Summer 2026 (Bunzl Processor Division)

Bunzl Processor Division (BPD) is hiring summer interns for students currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a Sales related field. The intern will work with our Field Sales Development division reporting directly to the Sales Manager of Field Sales Development and up into the Director of Sales Development and Training. This internship will work with the management team, and the Field Sales Development Team to learn and participate in a variety of Sales and BPD functions. This internship will be scheduled for 10 weeks in the summer of 2026.Responsibilities:Become familiar with BPD process and systemsBe able to learn the Bunzl system of sales and customer engagementSpend time in the field with current Field Sales Reps shadowing them on sales callsWork with Sales Mentor (assigned during the program) to assist in developmentMake outbound sales calls to customers (after sufficient training)Become proficient in the AS400 systemBecome familiar with different divisions of BPD, including Customer Service, Purchasing, Data Analytics, Category Management, and WarehousePrepare, process, review and monitor various sales reports for Sales ManagersPrepare and analyze monthly sales analysisWill be assigned a sales related project to research, study, prepare, and report out to upper management during the final week of the programRequirements:High school diploma or GED equivalent required, must currently be pursuing a bachelor's degreeMust possess strong planning, organizational and time management skills, as well as strong problem-solving skillsProven ability to organize, prioritize, and successfully manage multiple and shifting priorities, projects, and deadlinesProven self-starter with strong work ethic, self-motivated, resourceful, conscientious, punctual and energeticProfessional phone manner and ability to interact professionally with staffMust be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookBunzl North America is a global leader in the Cleaning & Hygiene, Food Processing, Grocery, Health Care, Non‐Food Retail, and Safety industries.
