Senior Research Manager | Market Research
We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Manager to join our Brands Division in New York City. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll lead and deliver high‑quality quantitative and mixed‑method research, working closely with clients to turn insight into action.This position is ideally suited for candidates with several years’ experience in the Consumer or Financial Services sector within a research agency environment.About Us:Savanta is a leading data, market research and advisory company helping the world's leading brands make better decisions, faster. With over 500 people across offices in multiple countries, we combine deep research expertise, proprietary technology and high-impact consulting to give our clients a complete view of their markets, their customers and their competitors.This role will be based in our NYC office, with the expectation to be in the office 1-3 days a week.About the Role:This role requires substantial experience in market research within an agency environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.As a Senior RM, you will play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality research projects, applying your knowledge, expertise, and analytical skills to support clients in making better decisions.You’ll manage multiple projects at once, taking day‑to‑day ownership of smaller studies while supporting senior leads on larger, more complex programmes. Over time, you’ll become a trusted, “go‑to” partner for your clients.This is a great chance to progress your career, gain valuable exposure to high profile clients and work across a varied client base delivering of high-quality quantitative and mixed methodology projects.Day to day you’ll:Lead project management on smaller research projects and support delivery on larger studies, with support from senior colleagues and input from junior executives.Act as the day-to-day client contact, responding to requests and managing expectationsDesign and draft all core research materials, such as questionnaires, discussion guides.Analyze data and translate findings into clear, compelling insight and presentation decks.Present debriefs and results to clients.Mentor and support team members, fostering best practice and continual learning.Manage small‑to‑medium client relationships with accountability for delivery and growthSupport new business meetings, proposals, and costing for smaller projects.You’ll be part of an established, inclusive team with a flat management structure, robust career support, and early responsibility - including account management for long-term client relationships.About You:You have significant agency experience using quantitative & qualitative market research methodologies and open to embracing new ones (e.g. AI).
