Our unparalleled ability to cater for local-market customisation and operator preferences provides players with an optimal betting experience, resulting in proven growth for our rapidly expanding customer base.Where you Fit In:As our Information Security Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in protecting Sportingtech’s products and infrastructure from cyber threats. You will collaborate with IT, development, and compliance teams to embed security controls across the software development lifecycle, drive application security initiatives, and support governance and regulatory requirements.The impact you will have:Collaborate with IT and development teams to embed security controls into the software development lifecycle (SDLC)Conduct static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST) using tools such as SonarQube and Burp SuitePerform vulnerability testing with tools such as Kali and Tenable NessusLead threat modeling sessions and conduct manual secure code reviews (JavaScript / Node.js)Monitor emerging application-level threats and design effective security solutions.Support governance and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, GDPR, Gaming Regulatory)Assist with internal and external audits, risk assessments, and vendor security reviewsContribute to incident response, threat detection, and root cause analysisPromote information security awareness across the companyWhat we’re looking for:A passion for Information SecurityBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field3–5 years of experience in information security or a related technical roleKnowledge of OWASP Top 10 and NIST Cybersecurity FrameworkHands-on experience with security testing tools (Burp Suite, Tenable Nessus, SonarQube)Ability to review and assess source code for vulnerabilities and recommend remediationExperience with SIEM and threat intelligence tools (Elastic Stack, OpenSearch)Understanding of the iGaming industry is a plusSportingtech is an equal opportunity employer.
