Job Description:Job Title: Board Certified /Board Eligible UrologistDepartment: Veteran AffairsLocations: Fargo ND 58102Shift: 08:00am-04:00pm (M-F)Duration: 1 year to long termHours/week: 40 Hours/weekJob description: Direct Patient Care (Approx. 90%): Evaluate and treat patients in the Urology outpatient clinic daily Conduct consultations and coordinate referrals Perform inpatient rounds for Urology patients Carry out procedures including cystoscopies, vasectomies, scrotal surgeries, ureteroscopies, transurethral surgeries for prostate disease and bladder cancer Provide general urological care Preferred Skills: Robotics certification is preferred but not required. Schedule: Hospital hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. local time 80 hours per pay period, Monday–Friday No call responsibilities or Federal holiday duties Procedures Expected: Lymphatic, abdominal, prostate, urethra, ureter, bladder, kidney, penis, scrotum, testes procedures Endoscopy procedures Use of holmium laser, ESWL, and fluoroscopyRequirement: License: The physician assigned to perform services under this contract must hold a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia, when services are performed onsite at VA property.
