We are hiring immediately for full time Power or HVAC Technician I a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need.What Youll Do:Youll be based out of our Atlanta service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicleYoull have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travelPerform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressorsTroubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairsYou will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sitesWere Experts, Which Means Youll Have The Following Skills And Experience:High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience4-7 years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairsExperience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematicsBased on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical cardValid drivers licenseAbility to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.Must-Haves:1 High school diploma/GED or equivalent years of work experience2 5+ years of power generator and/or commercial HVAC experience performing inspection, maintenance and repair3 Field-based position, with local travel daily. Driver's License required.4 Ability to lift heavy objects (typically less than than 50 lbs)5 Ability to work overtime and weekends, potentially travel as neededNice-To-Haves1 Valid DOT Medical Card2 Valid drivers license up to Class A CDL with endorsements
