Access to an on-site gym + employer-paid membership Collaborative team environment and opportunity to help shape the departmentWhat the Tax Accountant will do: Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships, trusts, individuals, and corporationsAssist with tax provisions for federal and state complianceResearch tax laws and recommend effective tax strategiesMonitor and implement new and revised tax legislationEnsure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirementsContribute to special projects, IRS audits, and tax planning initiativesStay current with tax trends and participate in relevant training and professional developmentWhat the company needs in a Tax Accountant:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (MST or CPA preferred)2+ years of tax accounting experience, including preparing federal and state returnsStrong understanding of tax software and tax lifecycleProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office SuiteExcellent communication skills and ability to interact with both tax and non-tax stakeholdersComfortable working independently and collaboratively on multiple projects
