Shipping Associate

We are currently searching for a Shipping Associate. The Shipping Associate assures all completed production orders are properly shipped to assure on time delivery of products to our customers. Our Brand Promise is to ship all orders the same day. In addition, this position will complete all receiving transactions and will aid in maintaining raw material inventory. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Loads and unloads stock/materials from delivery vehicles. Unpacks, stores, and rearranges supplies. Completes Shipping of all products each day via UPS, Fed X or other carriers. Prints and attaches labels to all orders – 100 to 150 orders shipped each day. Perform Daily 5S responsibilities of assigned work area(s). Must be reliable and work well with others. Must operate a forklift and associated material handling equipment, current forklift license. Follow instructions given by supervisor quickly and efficiently with minimum supervision. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required. Follow all Safety requirements which includes: Wearing PPE, following Safe Work Practices, adhere to Safety Policy and Rules. Knowledge Understands basic office and bookkeeping terminology, practices, procedures. Ability to operate work related equipment, including the ability to operate/use office equipment (computer, copier, etc.) Computer Skills: Working knowledge of personal computer, keyboard, and various software programs. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to work with co-workers, internal and external customers, and the general public. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Requirements Experience: Two (2) years of mail room and/or shipping/receiving experience. Education and Training: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Working knowledge of shipping processes. License or Certificate: Possession of, or ability to obtain, Fork Lift Operator's Certification. Computer Skills: typing, Microsoft Office Products, Internet / Web Based software Sense of Urgency: ability to juggle multiple priorities Quality: Detail oriented and assures Quality workmanship in the completion of duties assigned Physical Requirements Stand frequently Sitting seldom Lifting /carrying 50 lbs. occasionally Pulling/pushing occasionally Lift overhead occasionally Fine hand manipulation occasionally Power hand manipulation occasionally. Qualifications and Skills 2-3 Years of shipping / receiving and packaging experience High School Diploma or GED Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
