The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of piping systems, the ability to perform accurate take-offs, and the communication skills needed to work effectively with customers, field leadership, and internal teams. Where necessary and applicable, coordinate and/or assist in the duties below:Manage piping projects from pre-construction through closeoutPerform detailed material take-offs and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and other technical drawingsCoordinate with customers, general contractors, vendors, and internal departmentsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and manpower plansIdentify and resolve project issues, design conflicts, or material constraintsLead and support field teams, including Foreman and General ForemanEnsure all work meets company and client safety, quality, and performance standardsPrepare and track change orders, RFI documentation, and project reportingMaintain strong customer relationships through clear and proactive communicationEducation And ExperienceBachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 3-5 years of experience in industrial piping project management or supervision is preferredStrong understanding of piping systems, materials, and installation processesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings including P&IDsProficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and project documentationExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems quicklyStrong commitment to safety and qualityExperience in managing piping crews in industrial settingsBackground in fabrication, welding procedures, and field installation are preferredComputer experience, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, Outlook, and project management softwareWork Environment/Physical DemandsStand or walk for long periods of timeUse arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objectsLift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistanceManual dexterity needed for repetitive tasks and operating standard office equipmentWillingness to travel overnight up to 5-10% of the timeIMI Industrial Services Group is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
