This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, code-compliant electrical system designs that support long-term building performance, energy efficiency, and sustainability goals.This position is ideal for an experienced MEP engineer who enjoys technical leadership, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and hands-on involvement throughout the full project lifecycle—from concept through construction.Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical system design, engineering, andspecification development for assigned projectsManage the full engineering lifecycle from conceptdesign through construction completionEnsure designs align with project scope, budgets, andapplicable codes and standardsOversee, mentor, and review the work of engineers anddesigners, including calculations and drawingsCollaborate with project management, mechanicalengineering, and construction teams to meet project milestonesConduct site surveys, equipment evaluations, andprovide field support during constructionReview drawings and specifications to ensure clientrequirements and regulatory complianceIdentify and implement design improvements that enhanceefficiency, performance, and constructabilityCommunicate project progress, risks, and technicalsolutions to internal and external stakeholdersRequirementsBachelor’s degree inElectrical Engineering
(required)7+ years
of experience in electrical design for commercial, institutional, orindustrial facilitiesStrong background inMEP building systems ,including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systemsProficiency withAutoCAD and RevitExperience withProcore, Bluebeam Revu, or similarproject management toolspreferredProfessional Engineer (PE) licensepreferred but not requiredStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solvingskills
This position will be remote four days a week with one day per week in the Cleveland office,BenefitsCompetitive salary targeting$130,000-$140,000
