As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Director of Quality Assurance who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is ready to lead a world-class quality organization.Role OverviewTitle: Quality Assurance Manager to Sr. Manager (DOE)Reporting Line: to Chief Quality & Regulatory Officer (CQRO)Department: Quality AssuranceLocation: Near Little fall, NJPay: Base $120,000~$140,000Benefits: Med, Vision, Dental, 401K, PTOFull onsite M ~ F 830~5:30The Quality Assurance Mgr to Sr. Mgr is a pivotal leadership position responsible for steering global quality systems and ensuring total regulatory compliance across our expanding manufacturing footprints. Reporting to the Chief Quality & Regulatory Officer, you will oversee the integrity of manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse operations, focusing specifically on FDA-regulated cosmetics, OTC drugs, and medical devices. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to manage the full product life cycle while maintaining a culture of continuous improvement through robust CAPA and global audit programs.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Partner with the Chief Quality & Regulatory Officer to align quality objectives with global business goals and 4x growth scaling strategies.Regulatory Stewardship: Serve as the primary guardian for compliance with FDA, TGA/PICS, EPA, and OSHA standards, with a core focus on ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP) and ISO 13485.Investigation & Resolution: Direct comprehensive investigations into non-conformances (NC), product complaints, and out-of-specification (OOS) results; architect and implement sustainable Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).Batch Release & Disposition: Oversee the review and authorization of raw materials, bulk intermediates, and finished goods, maintaining "Authorized Person" (AP) status for final product disposition.Validation & Stability: Lead the process validation lifecycle and manage specialized drug stability programs, bulk hold studies, and product compatibility testing.Technical Documentation & Change Control: Manage the master repository for SOPs, ERP data, and batch records; oversee the formal Change Control process for all modifications to specifications across 100+ unique brand requirements.Operational Integration: Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure in-process activities conform to stringent safety and quality specifications.Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise a diverse Quality team, ensuring technical excellence and audit-readiness across all shifts and departments.Candidate RequirementsEducational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology) or a related Science/Engineering field is ideal.Industry Expertise: A minimum of 5–8 years of progressive leadership experience specifically within Cosmetics Brand of Cosmetics Manufacturers. Global Mindset: Experience working within an international organization (specifically involving APAC or global HQ structures) is a significant advantage.Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in data analysis, specification development, and technical writing. Experience with ERP systems in a high-volume manufacturing setting is essential.Auditing & Inspection: Demonstrated success in navigating FDA/regulatory audits and managing on-site quality inspections for global brand partners.Physical Requirements: Ability to navigate a manufacturing/warehouse environment and occasionally lift or carry up to 15 lbs.Comfortable with Full onsite work to lead a team
