Job DescriptionAbout the TeamThe paid search team supports the Text and Shopping ads across the portfolio of 10 WSI brands.We partner with vendors, agencies, tech platforms, and cross functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.About The RoleWilliams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst to support Paid Search and Shopping programs across one or more portfolio brands. This role will help drive revenue growth through campaign management, testing, analysis, and optimization across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and emerging platforms.The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. A successful candidate brings digital consumer marketing experience and expertise in Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, and modern AI-powered marketing and reporting workflows.ResponsibilitiesManage and optimize Paid Search and Shopping campaigns across Google and Microsoft AdsSupport budget pacing, forecasting, bid management, and promotional executionHelp drive performance across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaignsMonitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities to improve ROAS, traffic, and conversionBuild reports and deliver insights to Marketing and Brand stakeholdersSupport testing initiatives across ad copy, landing pages, audiences, and Shopping campaignsUse performance data and testing insights to inform optimization and budget allocation decisionsAnalyze performance data and provide actionable recommendationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Analytics, Creative, and Brand MarketingStay current on evolving search automation, AI-driven campaign tools, and platform best practicesMentor junior analysts and contribute to team best practicesCriteria3–5 years of Paid Search and/or Shopping campaign management experienceStrong understanding of Google Ads and Microsoft AdsExperience with Shopping campaigns, Performance Max, and automated bidding strategiesIntermediate experience using AI and automation tools to support campaign optimization, reporting, analysis, or workflow efficiencyStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExperience with Excel and analytics/reporting tools such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, Domo, or TableauStrong communication and organizational skillsRetail or eCommerce experience preferredBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferredThis role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday, with Friday optional in officeOur Culture & ValuesWe believe that taking care of our people is vital to our success and we strive to offer equitable and transparent practices for all.
