Construction Project Manager (Hybrid)

About the CompanyJoin a high-performance general contractor - design + build team delivering complex infrastructure projects.About the RoleThis is not a siloed PM role. You’ll own projects end-to-end—from early-stage through execution and closeout—inside a fully integrated design-build model. You’ll lead technically complex retrofit and infrastructure projects (typically $1M–$10M) across HVAC systems, energy efficiency upgrades, renewable integrations, and building modernization initiatives.ResponsibilitiesOwn full lifecycle project delivery: preconstruction, estimating, execution, and closeoutLead 1 primary project (with potential support on 1–2 smaller projects)Develop budgets, scopes, and timelines with internal engineering + field teamsCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders without traditional RFI delaysDrive project profitability, scheduling, and client satisfactionContribute to preconstruction efforts including bid solicitation and scope alignmentUse tools like Premier, Asana, and Bluebeam to manage workflows and communicationCollaborate directly with operations leadership and cross-functional teamsTravel ~10–15% (1–2 short trips/month depending on project needs)QualificationsExperience with a mid-to-large General Contractor (GC)5+ years as a Project Manager (mid-size GC) OR 2+ years PM / 8+ years total with a large GCProven experience managing commercial construction projects ($1M–$10M+)Exposure to preconstruction / estimating / subcontractor bidding processesStrong technical aptitude and comfort with construction software toolsAbility to independently lead projects with minimal oversightBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related fieldPMP or other PM certificationsExperience with energy systems, mechanical/HVAC, or retrofit projectsNot a Fit: Subcontractor-only backgrounds without GC-level project ownershipPay range and compensation packageBase Salary: $100K–$130KBonus: Strong performance-based bonus (historically 10–25%)Schedule: Flexible hybrid model (office presence expected for key meetings)Hours: Outcome-driven (typically 8–5)BenefitsDay 1 healthcare coverage (80% employer-paid across plans)Dental + vision401(k) with up to 4% matchUnlimited PTO12 paid holidaysEqual Opportunity StatementTeam environment values ownership, initiative, and integrity.
