Cost Controller

Onsite Healthcare Financial Controller Currently looking for a Financial Controller to lead the financial operations for a Healthcare facility. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field required. Experience in Healthcare financial management, with experience supporting regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and external audits, is also required. This is an onsite position. Minimum Requirements of the Controller:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or related fieldExperience in hospital financial management requiredStrong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reportingExperience working with external auditorsExperience supporting regulatory reporting requirementsPrior supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferredCritical Access Hospital experience is a plusStrong analytical and financial reporting skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesHigh attention to detail and organizational strengthAbility to prioritize and meet deadlines in a dynamic healthcare environmentIntegrity, professionalism, and a commitment to mission-driven healthcare Responsibilities of the Controller:Supervise accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting staffLead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processesPrepare and review financial statements and reporting packagesSupport year-end audits and coordinate with external auditorsConduct financial variance analysis and partner with department leadersAssist in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgetsOversee preparation of Medicare Cost Reports, Disproportionate Share (DSH) audits, and Form 990 filingsMonitor financial controls and ensure regulatory complianceMaintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party reimbursement structuresSupport financial forecasting and performance analysis.
