We bring deep expertise in golf operations and club culture, paired with a genuine commitment to creating welcoming, memorable experiences for every guest and member.Job Purpose: The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for serving food and drinks at the club snack bar to members and guests.Responsibilities:Assist members and guests in food and beverage selection by describing special offerings or menu changes, answering food preparation questions, recording member/guest selections and upselling where possible. Relay orders to kitchen or prepare food directly, identifying any special requests and entering orders into registerDeliver orders to members and guests with appropriate accompaniments or garnishes. Ensure orders meet proper presentation and quality standards, package take-out orders as needed, and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beveragesProcess sales through the Point-of-Sale system (POS)Maintain attractive food displays and clean tables, counters, dishes, chairs, floors and equipment. Ensure sufficient levels of inventory in storage rooms and refrigeratorsManage cash and balance register at the end of each shift. Inform management of supply shortages and upcoming events that affect snack bar operationsFollow closing proceduresAdhere to company policies and procedures regarding attendance, timekeeping, dress code and safetyAssist other food and beverage outlets as requested by managementAssist in training other snack bar attendantsOther duties may be assigned by managementQualifications:Must be of legal age to sell and serve alcoholic beverages, applicable state card or certificate must be provided if required by state lawExperience handling cash and credit card transactionsMust be able to work a flexible schedule, perform multiple tasks and prioritize efficientlyKnowledge of applicable liquor laws, procedures and policies, ability to determine signs of intoxicationKnowledge of proper food preparation, storage, and sanitation requirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent experience preferredWorking Conditions:Days and hours of work vary by schedule and business needsEvening, weekend, and holiday work will be requiredWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, to walk, read, hear, talk, balance, climb, use hands, use fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, taste, push or pull. The employee may be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
