Full benefits can be offered.SCHEDULEMonday- Friday (40 hours per week)CONTRACT TERM1 year with high likelihood of extension or conversion to full time employee.POSITION OVERVIEW – Manufacturing Engineer IV-CNC Programming RESPONSIBILITIESGenerate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or other software. This could include multi-axis milling, turning, grinding and/or EDM.Program 3, 4, or 5-axis machines including VMC, VBM, VTL, HBM, HMC, EDM (wire, sinker, fast hole), etc.Work on Okuma, Haas, Siemens, and Fanuc controlsVerify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor utilizing VericutExperience with high-level machine tool controls including sub-routine(macro), Renishaw probing routine, and variable based programming, as well as CLM (closed loop machining)Strong problem solving and organization skills, with above average shop math skills in geometry and trigonometry.Experience machining high temperature superalloys found in HDGT or Aerospace components.Provide CNC related support to M.E. (Manufacturing Engineer) and provide operator, programmer, and ME training as requiredProvide daily operator support in the form of CNC programming and troubleshooting support to the shop floor.Work effectively as an individual and in a team-based environment in a matrixed organization.Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Machinist Apprentice (or similar) graduate with 3 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming [OR] High School Degree w/6 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming.
