About the RoleAs a Sales/Solution Engineer at Trestle, you'll be a vital link between our sales, customer success, and product teams. You will use your technical expertise to help prospects and customers understand the value of our identity data solutions. You will also partner closely with the product teams to analyze different data sets that can help improve the coverage and efficacy of the identity data products from Trestle. This involves analyzing customer data, using our solution to generate insights, and presenting the findings.Product and Data Set Analysis: Collaborate closely with the product team to analyze various data sets and contribute to the design and development of new data solutions. You will provide valuable market feedback and technical insights to help shape our product roadmap.Technical Problem-Solving and Debugging: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise during POCs. Ability to understand needs of its technical product portfolio, relate them to customer pain points and use various statistical approaches to identify opportunities to improve and build the product.Customer Success Engineering: Partner with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing success. Provide technical guidance, conduct training, and help customers optimize their use of our data solutions. Analyze log data and other technical information to identify and resolve problems. Data-Driven Storytelling: Design and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to a variety of customer audiences, from technical experts to business executives. You'll act as a storyteller, translating complex data analysis and POC results into a clear narrative that demonstrates the tangible business value and insights our solution provides.Sales and Technical Support: Conduct compelling product demonstrations, answer in-depth technical questions, and serve as the subject matter expert on our platform's capabilities and integrations.Required Qualifications3-5 years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or a similar technical role, preferably within the B2B SaaS or data industry.Strong proficiency in data analysis, with experience using tools such as SQL, Python, and Excel to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data.A deep understanding of data concepts, including data pipelines, APIs, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with analyzing log data and debugging technical issues is essential.Experience with basic machine learning concepts and statistical modeling, particularly regression models, is a strong plus. While not a core requirement, a foundational understanding of these techniques will help you identify additional value for customers and collaborate more effectively with our product and data science teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for understanding a customer's business challenges and translating them into data-driven solutions.About TrestleTrestle is a technology company based in Bellevue, WA, building the next generation of identity data products.
