Sushi Chef

Duties: - Prepare sushi dishes in accordance with food health and safety regulations - Create visually appealing and tasty sushi dishes - Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders Skills: - Proficiency in culinary techniques specific to sushi preparation - Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment - Understanding of dietary requirements and restrictions - Adherence to food safety standards and regulations - Experience in the food industry, particularly in sushi preparation - Skillful handling of knives for precise cutting and presentation - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food service environment - Previous experience as a sushi chef or cook in a restaurant setting - Familiarity with dietary aide duties for meal preparation Pay: $21.21 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Berkeley, CA 94710 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Berkeley, CA 94710: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
